"I accidently grabbed this product instead of the Apricot blackhead and blemish scrub and was very disappointed. It doesn't feel like it exfoliates and It leaves my skin feeling as oily as it did before I used the product. The blemish and blackhead control scrub is much better but more abrasive."

"I'm really happy i bought this product, because it have really help me get rid of my blemishes and it doesn't dry my skin at all, specially since my skin is really sensitive. This product is just so soft and gentle that you are going to love it."

"I love this product at the end of the day to remove makeup, oils and just refresh my skin before going to bed. I use the medicated St. Ives Apricot Scrub in the morning in the shower, and this cleanser in the evening and always get compliments about how soft my skin is and what a nice complexion I have - I'm 47, and never had really bad acne as a teenager but would still be getting random monthly minor breakouts even now, especially with hormonal changes starting to appear. But St. Ives to the rescue!! :)"

Pros: getting rid of acne, removing excess oil from skin, giving your face a fresh clean look
"Being the unfortunate owner of an extremely acne-prone oily skin, I have always struggled with beauty products that promised, nay, SWORE to tame my pores and leave my face with a look and texture similar to that of a baby's bottom. Sadly enough, most of those products dried my face to the point of making me wonder whether I had just become one with the desert of Sahara, forcing me into buying special -and expensive- moisturizers, which only contributed for my skin problem to worsen.
One day though I found a tube of this cleanser on the supermarket at a relatively cheap price; since I love apricots and had nothing to lose, I decided to give it a try.
Best decision ever, I must say.
This cleanser's scrub is very mild and soothing, leaving me after every wash with a sensation of freshness. It removes the oiliness of my skin without turning me into Tutankhamen, and I have been acne-free ever since I started using it.
If you have problems with oily skin and acne, this is your savior."

"I have used multiple cleansers in the past, and I always come back to St. Ives Blemish Fighting Apricot Cleanser! It keeps my face clear, soft and looking renewed! I love that it does not contain parabens, like many other cleansers and it is not tested on animals! Hands down, the best cleanser I've used!!"

"I decided that I was sick of my old face wash (Pink Grapefruit Foaming Acne Wash- of another company) because it was not improving my skin enough. I don't have horrible acne, but this was not stopping even moderate acne from appearing. I chose St. Ives because of its 'natural' ingredients, and after first use, I was really impressed at the loss of that tight feeling I had gotten used to from my old product. I also love that this product has improved my complexion (one of my largest issues) and my face is SO soft now! I also use this product on my upper back, to get rid of some heavier acne, and it has been a miracle! I REALLY recommend this to anyone wanting skin that looks, feels, and behaves healthy."

"I'm almost 34 years old and never had a problem with acne until 3 years ago. I have used Clinique, Proactiv, and every other skincare line on the market. Nothing works. All other acne lines dry out and irritate my skin, making my mild acne much worse instead of better. I've used the St. Ives scrubs for over 20 years now and I love them so I decided to give this a try. Glad I did. First of all, I can't believe what I've read from other reviewers about the smell!! The smell of this product is great - very light and much like the apricot scrub. My skin is perfectly clear, even-toned, never red, and feels fabulous! I use this in combination with the blemish fighting scrub twice a day. I have very fair - and VERY sensitive - skin. To find something that keeps my skin clear and completely got rid of my blackheads without irritating or drying out my skin is unbelievable. AND, I live in Alaska - very cold and very dry - but my skin? Perfect!"

"I had acne, but not too bad, just pimples around my forehead and t-zone area. I have combination skin and this was a great product to use that got rid of a lot of my acne bumps! I've been using St.Ives Apricot Cleanser for about a month and have seen a significant difference in my skin!! I also use the Apricot Scrub as well, I love them both! I use the scrub in the shower and the cleanser almost everyday! This product gets rid of and makeup and dirt build-up on my skin, its an amazing item! The scrub did dry out my skin a little bit, but I just used my everyday moisturizer- that did the trick! I love this product as well as the scrub! It's inexpensive and AMAZING!"

"I adore St Ives scrubs so I thought I would change it up and give this cleanser a try. First, when I think of a cleanser I think of a silky creamy face wash, not one with micro beads. Because of this I think the micro beads were a terrible idea for a cleanser! It doesn't say "with micro beads" on the front of the tube...had I read the back more carefully I would have passed on this product all together. Second, I had a killer time rinsing this stuff off. It left a plastic feeling residue on my face. I ended up using the Fresh Skin Scrub to clean off the filmy feeling. Overall, I had a dismal experience with this product and will not be buying it again."

"I love how this has not only cleared away acne, but also leaves my skin feeling fresh and baby soft after use. I used Clean&Clear previously, but was disappointed in the way it stripped my skin of oils. Now, having switched over to St. Ives, I have beautiful skin again. Will definitely recommend to friends! :)"

"We ALWAYS buy the apricot scrub and bought the apricot cleanser by accident (we got confused by the "new look" labels). My husband and I will not use generic or other brands version of the scrub because it just doesn't compare; however, I was very disappointed with the apricot cleanser because it smells like the hair dye that I use and I will not use it because I keep thinking I am putting hair dye on my face! The smell is SO similar that it bothers me, I have wasted a whole bottle of this stuff because I can't handle the smell."

"I have struggled with acne for a little over 5 years now, and nothing has worked. I have tried every over the counter product and prescription possible, yet my skin continued to break out periodically. "I've used this product for over 29 years now and I won't use anything else on my face to wash and clean it with. Soap has not touched my face since I started to use this product. I am 55 years young and not to brag but, I am constantly complimented on my lack of wrinkles and how healthy my skin looks. Got to admit, it's a great ego booster at my age. I will use this product for the rest of my life. I have my daughter and now 13 year old granddaughter using it as well."

"I always assumed that the older I'd get, my acne would just disappear. I was wrong. I've dealt w/ occasional outbreaks in the past, but I guess w/ hormonal fluctuations in my 40s, my skin continued on w/ acne. Nobody ever told me that as I entered a perimenopausal phase of life, acne would continue to be a problem. I tried to stick w/ expensive natural products, & I even tried a popular acne product on the market that just dried out my skin! And then I decided to try St. Ive's for my skin. They used to have hair products that I loved (Did they get rid of them?), & I thought, ok: I'll try the skin care stuff. IT WORKED! It's a good price. I can find it at my grocer or drugstore. It smells nice. It gets rid of dead skin buildup so I don't get patches of flaky skin that dull my skin's appearance. And most of all, IT FIGHTS MY DARNED ACNE!!! In 2 more yrs, I'll have lived a full half century of life, & who'd believe it? Most people think I'm much younger than my yrs, & St. Ive's is helping in that. Keep it up!"
