Pros: acne, dark spots, blackheads/whiteheads, dull/rough skin
"I have slightly sensitive, acne-prone, combination skin. The alpha hydroxy acid in this helped my skin tremendously, I use it every other day, after I've been in the shower for awhile(to open my pores up) and scrub it around, and then let it sit as a mask for about 5 minutes. It makes my skin so soft, and it's helping clear my blackheads and dark spots.

"I used this product for the first time today. This stuff is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I do wish that you could put it into a jar though. I live in upstate New York and I also work in a factory. My skin goes through alot all year round. This stuff is so gentle and my face feels unbelievebly soft. This is another LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I have sensitive and very dry skin, but since I have 40 years I needed something to remove dead skin ... I was looking something for sensitive skin, but this brand had ended in this store, and then chose the one that said "timeless skin"... When I tried it fascinated me, anything abrasive, leaves skin very soft and has a rich aroma... I hope you do not change their formula because it is perfect ... I bought a moisturizer now and I hope to try soon"

"I am a product junkie, I've used literally ERVERYTHING out there,( Olay, Clean & Clear, Neutrogena) and NOTHING compares to the St.Ives Family of products, esp. the Renew and Firm. I've used the apricot scrub since I was 12, (15+ years), and I was MORE than pleasantly surprised with this product. It makes my skin feel SO soft, smooth, and makes my pores seem smaller. I match it with the Collagen Elastin Facial Moistuizer. This is BY FAR the best product for the money... Thank You SO MUCH St.Ives! You truly have a loyal fan :)"

"I've been using [some form or another of the] apriot scrub since I was a teenager. Some 18+ years ago. I actually remember the day I bought it - I thought the original square like container was pretty neat. It was my first visit to the new Walmart in town, I suppose that is why I remember it. Anyways, I've tried other products, but within a few days I have gone back to the apricot scrub. I've always been told I look younger but have genereally shrugged it off. Last summer I was asked if I was a college intern. Last fall, a taxi driver in New York asked if my friend (age 35) was my mother! My husband came home yesterday and said his new coworkers thought I was in my early 20's! I'll be 34 in a few months. I think St. Ives plays a huge role in the condition of my skin. Thanks St. Ives!"

"I decided to try this particular product for the first time and I don't regret it. It cleanses and exfoliates, but is not harsh nor is it too gentle; just right. PLUS...I love the fact that my skin feels silky soft (it really does, too) after I rinse my face. Wow! And its so creamy and yet exfoliates, but on a lower scale. My skin feels firmer, softer, and more youthful. I just love the St. Ives facial products. They are so inexpensive and you really get your money's worth and then some. Highly recommend this product. Give it a try and hopefully you will love it, too!"

"I have used Lancome and Clarins, as well as Clinique products--this stuff is every bit as good at a fraction of the price!!!! Please don't ever discontinue!!! It is truly amazing!!! If women used the products without labels--most would choose St. Ives!!!!! I am truly in love with this product!"

Pros: dry tight itchy skin, sensitive skin (trust me), wrinkles, loss of frimness
"When I do not have issues with acne (i.e. not using St. Ives Blemish & Blackhead Control Apricot Scrub) I use this scrub as my daily cleanser. It removes dirt and oil, moisturizes my dry skin, and my skin feels firm. It exfoliates to leave my face smooth and soft. I love the smell of this scrub as well. It is not apricot, but it is light and sweet."

"I have used many department store skin care products. It is great to know that I can find a product like Renew and Firm Apricot Scrub that is affordable, but at the same time acts like it should cost 3 or 4 times as much. The alpha hydroxy and other ingredients make my skin feel young again, even though I am over the 60 mark. Thanks St. Ives!"

"I love this product. It smells great and I feel comfortable usinging it daily. My skin is oily so I have no problems using it each morning in the shower. I've never noticed any irritation. I've been using St. Ives since I was a teenager (20 years). It was one of the first brands I found in stores that didn't test on animals and didn't cost a fortune. Thank you St. Ives for being animal friendly and affordable."
