"Since starting menopause, my skin has gone from "can use anything" to "super sensitive". This is the only cleanser that is mild enough and gentle enough to soothe my face. It cleans well and leaves my skin feeling fresh. I will definitely buy it again!"

"I purchased the olive facial cleanser over a month ago and I use it every day morning and evening. (I still have half the bottle left.)
The product does not dry out my skin and though it does foam slightly, it is not as foamy as a stripping cleanser that leaves my face itchy and tight feeling.
I am really pleased with this product and will purchase it again."

"I like how my skin feels fresh and soft after using this product, I've been using St. Ives facial cleansers for years and always find a positive remark from every one of them.I don't bother using this as a make-up remover because its rare that i do wear make-up at all but, when I feel my face becoming a tad oily it does do the job with cleaning off dirt. I also notice that even with using this once a day every day, the bottle seems to last me 2 months and then some (using two pumps). However, like all other facial skin products i use from St. Ives and even prior to St. Ives such as Clean & Clear, Oxy, Etc, my skin may feel soft but, it still does tighten up around my pores and then dries out to the point of flaking. I still have to use Lotion, and even then, there are still spots that dry out and flake. Although, i have also purchased both the apricot blemish and blackhead clear as well as the green tea moisturizer and have yet to use them for i still have the remainders of my other products. Until then this is my review, love the product altogether and still will always support St. Ives For people with sensitive skin this is great for you, but for people with heavily dry/flaky skin, you may need to use a particular lotion afterwards that works for you."

"I had a hard time for years trying to find a facial cleanser that worked the way I needed it to. I rarely breakout, so I didn't need acne fighters, but I have dry skin, and normal cleansers leave my skin dry and tight feeling, and I hate applying lotion to my face everyday. I was looking for something that would cleanse but maintain a healthy moisture balance in my skin. This did JUST that! It's perfect and the bottle lasted me a year. Thanks, St. Ives for this perfect product!"

"I was skeptical to use this product and still was unsure cause I just use baby's own soap....well I tried this and I love it! Doesn't dry your skin in fact it moisturize, not at all that it makes your skin greasy. I use the St. Ives body lotion and love this too!

"I love this cleanser because it cleanses deep, leaves your skin soft and invigorated, and it contains no harsh anti-acne cleansing agents such as Salicylic Acid, or Benezoyl Peroxide. However, it smells terrible!!! At least its all NATURAL!"

"I have oily skin and was looking for a gentle cleanser free of harsh acids and exfoliates. After using this cleanser for a while I have noticed my skin is so much more balanced and I break out less. Fantastic!"

"I bought this product while pregnant because my normally oily skin kept changing and was out of control. It was the only cleanser (and cheapest I tried) that stopped my t zone being oily and calmed down my red dry cheeks.
I've now had my baby and still use this product because my skin is still combination at the moment. It is better than any expensive product I've tried, and I've tried a lot. Please don't discontinue this product."

"My skin is dry and I've been using many products to see what works for me. One summer I found the Apricot Exfoliator and fell in love.
Once I used the Olive Cleanser and the apricot to exfoliate my skin became amazing.

My friend recommended Oxy Pads and they broke out my face horribly. I used the Olive Cleanser that night and the next morning half of my pimples were gone. over the course of the weeek, my face was great.
I have dry skin so it didnt moisturize for me, though. I use the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizeer with SPF 15. & then exfoliate using the apricot scrub.
Plus, it's cheap so I can run out and get it whenever I run out!

"FINALLY a facial cleanser that really removes all my make-up and does not leave my skin overdry. I use sunscreen and foundation during the day so I really need a good facial cleanser. I only use one dap of this and rub it between my hands in the shower until it foams up and voila superclean and soft skin. Please don't d/c this one!"

"I have combo-sensitive skin and this product works like a charm. Its not too drying yet a thorough cleanser. I keep it in the shower and use it twice a day. My skin looks vibrant and feels rejuvenated."

"I have tried the "Moisturizing Olive Cleanser" as well as the "Moisturizing Olive Scrub." While the two products are marketed in a very similar fashion, I actually prefer the "scrub" to the "cleanser." I found that the cleanser stripped away just a little too much moisture, but the olive scrub was perfect and left my skin feeling soft and moisturized, as advertised (and still definitely clean!).
I have combination skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks) and the Olive Scrub still definitely cleaned my T-zone well."

"I absolutely love this product! I've used a lot of St. Ives products and I'm very satisfied with them all, but this cleanser really knocks it out of the ball park! I have dry skin, so it's important for me to find a cleanser I can use everyday without over-drying my face. I love the St. Ives. Olive Cleanser because it takes off all my makeup and leaves my face feeling soft! It hasn't dried out my skin at all, it definitely does moisturize as it claims. As an added bonus, I also noticed that I haven't had my usual monthly breakouts since I've implemented this product into my skincare routine.

"I used the olive cleanser all winter and it kept my face very calm, I did not have any dry patches this winter. I used it along with the Mineral Moisturizer and it kept my face fresh and soft. I am going to try the green tea cleanser for summer. Thank you St. Ives, I love your products!!!"

"I try to buy as much of this as possible. Every time I go to the store it seems they are out or they are discontuning it. I have used the fancy olive face washes and they work great but this face wash works just as well yet cost a thrird of the price. Make more and market this product more! I LOVE IT!!!"

"I switched to St. Ives because of price but have fell in love since. Normally most washes cause my skin to be overally dry and promotes breakouts. I started using the olive cleanser every day. It doesn't dry my face out and helps keep my breakouts at bay."
