"I have been using this product for about a week with my Clarisonic, and so far I am very happy with the results. After I wash my face, I always follow up with Witch Hazel Astringent and my skin feels very clean. I do not find the product to be drying at all. Just started using many St. Ives products and wish I would have started using them sooner!"

"I normally love St. Ives products, so I thought I'd try the makeup remover. That was a joke. I used it at the end of the day to well, "remove" my makeup. I could still feel makeup on my face, so I washed my face again thinking TWICE should be enough. But when I dried my face with my nice white towels I was very unhappy to find foundation streaks where I had rubbed my face. It did leave my face feeling very smooth and not dried out though, but failed at removing my makeup."

"Nothing compares to my love for St.Ives! I use their face scrub, cleanser, and moisturizer. I even use their body wash and lotion! I always come back to St. Ives because it really is the best! I have used every single product from Clinique to Neutrogena because I thought that the more money the better the product, but not in this case!"

"I bought this product because I had loved using st. ives cleansers in the past, and was looking for a replacement for one I used to use before st ives changed several of it's products. I found that this product was incomparable to other st ives products I would have used before. Firstly it does not remove makeup not even the lightest makeup. Even when I am using it to clean my makeup-less face it doesn't really seem to clean. It also has a smell that isn't very pleasant. I have also tried green tea cleanser but it wasn't quite what I wanted. When st ives changed their product line my biggest problem was figuring out which product was supposed to replace the one I was using, I guess there is none cause nothing has matched up so far."

"I have used every product under the sun. They all dry out my skin so horribly that even a strong moisturizer won't work. This cleanser helps me to get off extra makeup that I may have missed with removers and it leaves my skin feeling great. I haven't used it in a while and decided to recently go back to it. I have been using it for 2 days and already my skin looks brighter and healthier. It feels great as well! I would definitely recommend this to anybody with the same problem that I had. It definitely gets the skin clean! I love St. Ives."

"I love St. Ives. I've used it for years...the lotions, the body wash and the facial cleansers...I don't like the scrubs too much though as it seems to dry my skin. But that's just MY skin...it doesn't reflect on the product. Oh the facial cleanser...great! Sometimes I go to other products but I always come back to St. Ives. I have only one question and it's not a complaint and that is: does the skin cleanser still come in a jar like it used to? If it does I can't seem to find it."

"I have extremely acne-prone skin, and it is a constant challenge to find products that will clean and rinse away thoroughly, but not completely dry out my skin. This is the only cleanser I have found that easily rinses away without leaving my skin either a) completely dried out, flaky and tight or b) greasy with an eventual break-out. Best skin care product I've found!"

"This is the only product that I have found that effectively removes waterproof mascara I have been using it for about 10 years and can not live without it. Sometimes hard to find but when I do I purchase 3-4 tubes so I don't run out. I will use nothing else on my skin!!"

"I use this every morning and night, and it leaves my skin feeling fabulous every time. It's always smooth and soft afterwards. It cleans really well and have fewer breakouts because it gets rid of the dirt and oil."

"I love this product. I was skeptical at first because it is creamy, but it leaves my face feeling clean and removes my makeup with minimal effort. There is no oily feeling after I cleanse, which is great considering I tend to be on the oily side."

"I have been using this cleanser day and night for the past eight years regardless of whether i'm wearing make-up or not. It effectively cleanses my skin and leaves it soft and smooth.This product does not feel greasy and it does not irritate my skin. I also like how it rinses away easily. The new and improved formula is great. I would recommend it to anyone as it is truly the only cleanser I have ever liked!!"

"I have used this product for many years and was glad that it not only performed well but did so without a noticeable fragrance. The new version described as "Fresh" does not feel the same but, more importantly, now has a distinct and quite unpleasant odor. I know products change and applaud that you removed the parabens but you also removed the botanicals and though none is listed in the ingredients, the new "fragrance" is something I cannot seem to get past. Hence, another fine St. Ives product has been removed from my list and I must find a replacement."

"I have purchased several different brands of makeup remover, but this product from St. Ives was by far the worst. The product did not remove all of my makeup and left a very oily, greasy film on my face and hands after use. I had to wash and scrub my hands twice before I was able to get rid of the oily film. I love many other St. Ives products, but this is not a product I would ever recommend."

Pros: st. ives makeup remover & facial cleanser
"I used to hate to wear makeup mostly because it could be such a problem to get it off. Eye makeup so totally sucked until now. St. Ives Makeup Remover & Facial Cleanser does a wonderful job.... without burning my eyes and drying out my skin. I'm very glad I found this product and I already do recomend it to friends and family."
