"I purchased this product for my daughter who is almost 3. We moved to NV from NC (from the east coast to the west!!) and it dried her skin out so bad. Her arms and legs were VERY red, cracked, chapped, and dry. They felt like crocodile scales!! After day 1 of using this product she is no longer red, or cracked. We use it every night when she gets out of the tub, and have been using if for over a week and it is the ONLY thing that has worked!! Thank you St. Ives!!!"

"PLEASE bring back the fragrance-free version of the Intensive Healing lotion. Like many people, I can't use anything that has a fragrance. Like another reviewer said, if It's not broke, don't fix it."

"Beats dry, itchy winter legs!"

"I struggle with extremely dry, itchy skin in the winter--particularly on my legs. It's been so bad at times that I have broken the skin scratching my legs in my sleep--OUCH! That paired with very hard water makes for a nightmare. This lotion has been a miracle worker for me ths year. When used regularly I've even been able to skip a day here or there when I'm pressed for time. Also, I understand that many people are sensitive to fragrance, however I've had no issues with my sensitive skin and the light scent this lotion contains. I find it to be quite pleasant & it doesn't compete when I wear perfume."

"I was looking for a lotion for my dry skin that did not have parabans or phthalates and usually will spend alot at other natural food store to get my lotions but happen to be a walmart yesterday and needed lotion and too tired to go to my regular store. I was thrilled to find this product that did not have all the parabans,ect for so cheap. I paid $3.99!! Got home took my shower and used this afterwards and it was amazing! My skin feels so soft and I love the smell, it is very light I dont understand why so many people hate the smell from some of the other reviews I have read .I think maybe St.ives should have this scented which I LOve and unscented for people that do not like the scent.I would be sad to see this scented gone one day. I love it . Used it in the morning and before bed and my skin feels amazing and healed the cracks just in 24hrs. of use. The price can't be beat and I love the natural factor if you read the labels on the exspensive brands in store u will find parabens. If only everyone knew how bad parabens.ect. are for skin. Thank YouSt. Ives,I love your lotion, I officially am hooked to this lotion!!"

"You ever spend years trying out products and finally finding one you will actually use, then what is probably some genius in marketing decides it needs a 'new and improved' logo and ruins it? New Coke comes to mind.
I hate having to use lotions, but have damaged extremely dry skin. I had finally found St Ives Intensive Healing (fragrance free version) to be the best out there. I bought them by the dozen, no fooling. Now that they added an offensive odor to it, I won't use it.

"Please bring back the previous formulation and truly "fragrance-free" Intensive Healing Lotion - it was perfect. I can't get past the smell of new version to know if the product moisturizes as well as the previous version. Even though the scent is mild, it makes me nauseous."

Pros: for anyone that does not have a sense of smell, anyone that likes smelling raisins all the time, those that like to annow others with smelly lotion
"I have seriously dry skin that cracks and bleeds through the winter months. I used St. Ives Intensive Healing for years and always told people how great it was and that it was unscented. When I ran out my fiance went and got more only this stuff smells like raisins and actually gives me a gut ache. I went and looked for myself and found it was no longer available, then I come here and see others are also upset about this. You have my email address and I give you permission to send me an email when you make this lotion scent free again. I cant stand this smell, now I have to spend more for something just because it doesnt stink!"

"I used the previous "version" of this product which was unscented & every bit as wonderful, if not more so. Really miss it!! On the other hand (pun intended) was pleasantly surprised how nice & effective the Intensive Healing lotion is. Although scented, it is a light scent & doesn't change (for the worse!) on contact w/my skin's chemistry. It is SUCH a relief for my skin, & lasts several hours."

"I was having a hard time finding a lotion that would heal my skin and not be sticky or tacky. I saw this and thought, why not if it can work for the alligator then it might work for me. Lol I was not dissapointed. My dry cracked skin healed in a week and it left my skin smooth and soft. I am so glad I tried it! Thank you so much."

"Like everyone else, Used the previous formula and loved it. Hate the new one... Remove the fragrance. I cant use this. You have lost a good client who always recommended your product. The new version is terrible, I won't use it any more. Please bring back the old product.

"The old St. Ives Intensive healing lotion that was unscented was just perfect for me. I used it all the time. Last time I went to purchase it, all there was available was an array of strong scents that I cannot tolerate! (I used unscented for a reason!) I know you guys are updating your product, and want to appeal to the masses, but please don;t forget the ones that can't tolerate all those smells! Please bring back the old unscented formula!"

"Get a clue St. Ives, do you ever read your reviews? virtually EVERY single one of these reviews (74 at this moment) is in favor of bringing back the discontinued Fragrance Free formula. What's the deal? the new formula says "hypo-allergenic" "lightly fragranced"..not true! I tried, as many others have too and it smells very perfumey.. I will not be using!!"

"There was a time where I would purchase these in bulk because it was unscented. Now there's nothing special about this lotion from St. Ive's other scented lotions. The new formula's smell is far from light. Why must everything have some sort of fragrance? Every brand should have some sort of unscented lotion available for sensitive skin, otherwise its just not good marketing as many people with this skin type opt for fragrance free products."

"Why does everything have to have a fragrance? If I want fragrance, I'll spritz on my favorite Burberry perfume. Is it so difficult to offer customers a no-fragrance option? On top of that, they discontinued the St. Ives Cellulite Shield. That was the only cellulite lotion that actually worked for me. Now, with no fragrance-free option on the Intensive Healing Lotion, I'm forced to move on to Curel, or Lubriderm. It's sad, I've used St. Ives products for as long as I can remember."

"Like most of the other reviews on this product, I can't understand why the fragrance free formula was changed! I too have used it for years, and have never, at any PRICE, found a better year round hydrating body lotion. If St. Ives wanted to market to a wider audience to boost sales, fine, change the packaging. But why would you add fragrance and loose such a loyal customer base? Frankly, I am angry that I have to go search for a replacement product, and I am not inclined to try an other St. Ives product because of my disappointment. Please bring back the fragrance free formula that REALLY worked at a great price. I could even get the guys in the our household to use it when they needed it! What a shame."
