Pros: shower gel lovers
"I'm a shower gel fanatic. My shower is what I rely on to get me going in the A.M. So I must have a great gel. I like citrusy products. So when I saw this one next to my regular on the shelf and noticed I'd get twice for the same price and I loved the scent, I went for it. When I used it for the first time, I was wonderfully surprised because it had mint and eucalyptus too, two more of my favorite ingredients; and it didn't dry out my skin. Its my new favorite gel!"

"Wow !! Gets rid of body acne ! !"

Pros: anyone with body acne, someone who doesnt want anything harsh, someone who wants an overall good body wash
"Okay, so i know the title sounds gross but. you'll be surprised how many people have it and i don't have it sever but i did have quiet a lot ! !
And i have never tried to treat it and its been getting a little more worse and i thought i could do nothing about it but, i just decided to one day to try this product because well i just thought it smelled good :) and wow within a few days it got rid of pretty much all or it ! ! so happy :D but, i couldn't find it recently and now i see the bottle looks different on the computer ... i hope they didn't change the formula ! ! but, people where saying they changed two years ago so i guess the new formula is the one i like but i hope they wont change it again ! !"

"St. Ives, please take a lesson from Coke. New is not always better. I have been buying this product for years. It is the only body wash I use. The original product had a great grapefruit scent which I loved. The scent of that is now packaged as energizing citrus is AWFUL!!!! Please PLEASE go back to the original grapefruit scent."

"I LOVE this body wash. I used to use DIAL Cleanse and Refresh, but recently quit because of the Triclosan in it. I have been using Philosophy at $25 a bottle! I have a hard time finding good clean rinsing washes that leave no residue and are capable of washing off sticky deoderant. I bought this on an impulse because a) it was cheap and b) the fragrance and "all natural" taglines caught my eye. I'm sold! This body wash works better in my opinion than body washes 10x the price. It smells lovely, foams very well so I use less product, and cleans even sticky deoderant off my underarms. 1 million thumbs up. I normally wouldn't even consider a low price brand, but now I will be trying more of St. Ives products based on my experience with this one."

"WHY oh WHY???"

"I have been using this product for several years and was so displeased when they changed the formula about 2 years ago so I didn't buy it. A spokesperson from the company said they were reconsidering the new formula due to consumer feedback and I noticed another packaging change (2nd one in 2+ years) so I bought it. The first time it was better (not as good as the first formula) but then when I went to replace it the new one smells terrible, nothing at all like fresh grapefruit. It's more like a sweet flowery smell with a hint of orange and lemon. Not what I wanted first thing in the morning. The smell kinda makes me feel ill for some reason. Please, St Ives, reconsider the new formula and keep your customers happy with a fresh crisp grapefruit scent with no flowers!!!! Thanks for your time!!"

"When I saw Energizing Citrus go on clearance, I knew it was a bad thing. I LOVED this product. I even loved smelling it on my husband and on my children when they were fresh from the shower. I bought up all that was left in the store but I am dreading the day I run out."

thought that someone made a big mistake on the

"Very unhappy with the new product"

"I have always loved your Energizing Citrus - I have used it for years and I loved the energizing fragrance. I recently bought the new version and am extremely unhappy. The wonderful energizing fragrance is gone, and the new fragrance is awful. The texture has also changed. I am very unhappy with this, and I see many others are, too. Please go back to the old version! I will never buy another of the new product, and am already trying other brands to find a replacement."

"I liked the old version of this product"

"I liked the old version of the energizing citrus bodywash. The old version had more of a grapefruit scent. I purchased an overstock of the old version, but gave most of them away so others could try the product. Now I only have one bottle left, which I am giving to my daughter. Please go back to the old version. Even my male friends like using it during the summer months. I did purchase serveral bottles of the new product, and use it also."

"I have been buying the Energizing Citrus for over a year. Last week a bought a new one and it smells awful! It used to have a slightly sweet and citrus fragrance and now it is just sour smelling. I assume they changed the ingredients. I hate it when a good thing is messed up!"

"I have been using St. Ives for a few years now and absolutely love that it is the ONLY brand that is INEXPENSIVE and DOES NOT TEST ON ANIMALS. It is also gentle on the skin. I stock up on the body wash to make sure I never run out of it. Because of the price and the company's ethics, I will continue buying their products."

"When you first made the original Energizing Citrus body wash (I started using it when I lived in Europe in 2005-6), I found it was so invigorating to use and it started off my day in the best way possible. I emerged from the shower feeling alive and ready to start my day. I always told all of my friends about this awesome way to start the day.
When I moved back from Europe in June, 2009, I got the New Version and it does not have the same effect on me. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL INGREDIENTS!! I do not like the new product at all. Please email me when you change it back to the Original Ingredients. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK, SO I CAN ENJOY IT AGAIN AND TELL YOUR STORY!!
