"Old St.Ives Body Wash"

Pros: bring back the floral sent.
"I have used St. Ives body wash for over 4+ years, but there was only one of the frangrance that I enjoyed using. It was a floral sent and a purple color. It didn't make my skin feel oily or yuky like the other products will. I have tried several of your other Body Washes. The only thing is The way they smell. The Collagen Elastin feels great but I hate the smell of this product. If you could have the Collagen Elasrin in a soft floral sent it world be all so much a better product. As of now I have none of your Body Washes that I can use."

"like the older formulation better"

"I have been using the Collagen Elastin body lotion for over 12 years. I loved the light fresh scent, but most importantly I loved that it held moisture in my dry skin while improving the elasticity. The new formulation has a lighter consistancy and I felt like in 3 hours I needed to reapply more. I am very dishearten that something I've loved using for some many years no longer delivers the same results."

Please bring back previous formulation!!!!
I am concerned about these new body wash formulas. I previously relied upon St. Ives for keeping my skin perfectly balanced all year through. Maybe you want me to buy moistiurizer too? I'd rather pay twice as much (3x as much) for the old deep moisturing formulas than waste time after shower and get slimy lotion on my clothes and towels.
I've used St. Ives body wash (switching back and forth between the two most moisturizing) for over 10 years. If I had to guess I'd say over 15 years. Hand soaps and lotions from other companies came and went. My one constant was my body wash. This is really frustrating and upsetting. Would have bought 2 cases worth if I had known it was not going to be made anymore.
I'd happily order online and skip the hunt for your products in target and CVS... just let us order straight from you.
ps - im online all the time and never write reviews. this issue so important to me i had to write."

"The older formula is MUCH better"

"I have been purchasing the collagen elastin for years now. When I first came upon it I couldn't believe how well it worked for me as I have dry skin. I recommended it to anyone I knew as the best body lotion on the market. Since you have reformulated a few months back I have been scouring my area for anyone with the old formula left on their shelves. The new formula is horrible. I thought maybe it was just me, but anyone I talked to who I had previously converted concurred. Why would you change a perfect product. Swallow your pride and follow in Coke's footsteps, the original is much better."

"I've been using the Collagen Elastin lotion for years and years, and for my skin type, it was the perfect lotion. Was. However, this new formula is, to put it bluntly, horrible. It feels greasy, and doesn't absorb like the old formula, and I basically echo the sentiments of others who have rated the new formula poorly. I beg you to bring back the old formula!"

IVES for so many years..about 5-6 yrs.Recently I noticed the collagen/elastin I had been buying for all this time..is no longer available..the new and improved formula is now on all the shelves.Dont care for it..Please bring back the orig.product..then,I will come back to your great body wash.. thank you, Missy."

"I have used the collagen elastin for many years. When you changed the packaging it didn't say it was a new product. It stinks! What a disappointment. I will change brands now. Please let me know if you ever change it back."

"I have used this product for years so was very unhappy when I purchased it a couple of weeks ago and discovered that the fragrance has changed. It now smells cheap.
I also used your facial wash which is no longer available. I would hate to have to start shopping for a new product line as St. Ives has always been my go to and what I would recommend."

"I have used the old formula Collagen Elastin for many years. I liked this product because it did not have a strong fragrance & was gentle & moisturizing for dry/sensitive skin. I am very disappointed that the new product has a very strong fragrance. You used to have a special niche in the market for consumers who wanted non-fragrant body washes. I will be looking for another product to replace this one & continue to hope that maybe you bring back the old formula in the future."

"New Scent is Offensive"

"I used the original Collagen Elastin for over seven years. It had a very light fresh scent. When I noticed the packaging change I stockpiled a few of the old ones. I've now run out and had to switch to the new product. The scent is more like a rose smell. I just don't care for flowery smells. Very disappointed in the new scent and will be switching brands."

I have used your products for many years and have become very disappointed with the new "Renewing Collagen Elastin product. I have searched every retailer possible to buy the old formula but am unable to find any. The last bottle i have has a number on the bottom of 0834002 1155. is that the batch number, if so please let me know if theres any more out there to purchase."

"I will be sixty next month. I have tried numerous body wash products for which I did not see any improvement in my dry, chapped hands. My legs and arms would itch from the dryness. I used this product's body wash and saw immediate improvement. I can't wait to try the lotion as well. Thank you."

"Smells different now..."

"I used to use this body wash exclusively for YEARS. It was great on my sensitive skin and the smell was so good. I recently bought more and the smell is totally different now. I really don't like it. I'm so sad because it was my favorite.
I've now converted to the Oatmeal and Shea Butter which smells fantastic! The St Ives products are very good in my opinion, I just wish they'd leave well enough alone!"
